Gloves, Inc. Introduces First Electric Vibrating Paint Brush at IBS 2013

January 10, 2013 –We are proud to introduce the new "The Painter's Edge" electric paintbrush. "The Painter's Edge" is the first electric vibrating paintbrush that eliminates the need for tedious preparation with masking tape and drastically shortens the time it takes to paint clean, straight edges.

“This brush makes cutting in, trimming and edging simple”, said Jack Clark, Owner and National Sales Manager for Gloves, Inc. “With this innovative new product, you can save money, save time, and do a better job”, said Jack.

The brush is simple, yet innovative. The user simply loads the brush, then, paints while holding at a 45‚Äźdegree angle. Unique micro vibration action distributes the paint evenly to the end of the brush to provide a perfect, straight finish, every time. This new product eliminates the need for masking tape, shortens prep and working time, and the results include no crooked lines, no over painting, no mess, and no fuss. "The Painter's Edge" can be used whenever you want to produce a precision finish –between walls and ceilings, window and door framing, molding, around light switches and more. It also works great for rough or uneven surfaces.

Gloves, Inc. is introducing the "The Painter's Edge" at the 2013 NAHB International Builders’Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 22–24, 2013. The International Builders’Show is the largest light construction show in the world. All Equipment Is NOT Created Equal

Product Development Process Should Be Considered

When Utilizing Mining Safety Equipment

When deciding on mining safety or work equipment, the product development process provides insight as to how the product will perform while in everyday use.  It is important to understand the testing methodologies and quality control standards used in the development of a product in order to truly understand the quality and future performance.

All gloves are not created equal.  That is the case with the Great Grips work glove developed by Gloves, Inc. This unique glove was developed specifically for internal employee use at the request of one of America’s largest home improvement and construction retailers. With that challenge at hand, an extensive 3-year development process began to create a glove that met the very specific stringent requirements of the retailer and other work related industries. The glove had to look great, be incredibly comfortable, and meet specific minimum durability and Six Sigma requirements for coefficient of friction (grip), cut / puncture resistance and abrasion resistance. To meet the challenge a 3-layer design was developed: golf glove leather comfort and flexibility, double stitched micro-fiber for abrasion / puncture resistance and grid-pattern silicone for superior grip. Additional features include Spandex, whole hand padded protection including fingers and knuckles, terry brow wipe and a Velcro strap to keep out debris. After a lengthy laboratory testing process, a superior, ASTM tested and approved glove was developed that met or exceeded the retailer’s requirements and outperformed standard work gloves.  And, the advanced gripping technology provides a superior grip on any tool leading to greater safety.

Understanding what goes into the development of a product is a critical part of any product evaluation and can help when deciding on your mining safety or work equipment. By going through such a stringent development process, Great Grips continues to be one of the most comfortable and durable gloves on the market today for any work environment.
